Configure your business calling workflow
Build and review agents, organize contacts and campaigns, and inspect call outcomes in your workspace. Telephone and connected-service actions depend on your published workflow, permissions, account setup and available funding.
How to prepare your first agent
Sign in to your business workspace and open Agents. Use the Business setup checklist to see what is saved and what still needs attention. These instructions do not start a test, access your microphone or place a call.
- Complete your business details. In Business setup, follow Business details to settings and save your business name. Decide the call goal, language and approved facts the agent may use.
- Create and review the agent. Choose Create Agent. If available, select Quick AI Setup, describe the business and choose Generate preview; review the facts, opening and conversation steps before Confirm & Create Agent. Manual setup remains available. Connected bookings, transfers or emails need their own configured tools.
- Check the knowledge you supply. Add documents only when you need them, review their processing status and keep private credentials out of your instructions. Approved facts in the agent instructions can also provide business context.
- Save your workflow and check publication. Review the voice, language and instructions, choose Save Changes and wait for the saved result. Return to Business setup and choose Refresh setup to check the reported publication status; resolve unavailable or incomplete steps before testing.
- Choose a browser test deliberately. Open Browser Test, then choose Start Voice Test when ready to speak and grant microphone permission if your browser asks. Use End Call to stop. Browser tests are free of calling credits; they still need a ready published agent and an available voice connection.
- Prepare telephone testing separately. Telephone setup and Calling credits in Business setup identify the additional requirements. A Test Call needs an eligible configured number, recipient permission and available funded credits. Review the reported result and any available call artifacts before deciding what to change or retry.
